I was following the Intel thread for awhile before the traffic increased to the point where I didn't want to spend the time it would take to sift out the useful information. One of the regular participants was Intel's IR guy, John Hall (I think that was the name). Intel apparently thought it was appropriate for him to participate, but I would submit to you that it is pretty pointless since IR people can't provide us with information that hasn't already been released to the public. It was great to see that Hall was there and responding to questions, but since he couldn't supply anything other than widely known information, and couldn't participate in discussions beyond offering the Intel-approved viewpoint, there wasn't any point to his being there beyond the positive PR it generated.

Just my 2 cents.
