House prices high, stock prices zooming, inflation at zero, unemployment remaining steady and not very high, economic activity burbling along nicely, profits coming in with increases. It must be time for our great and wonderful idol, Uncle Al KBE, to announce a firming bias, preparatory to a quarter point increase for Xmas. What an amazing achievement he has enjoyed, taking the world through the biggest financial turbulence in human history with the system staying on an even keel. Congratulations to our most amazing and prescient leader, the noble and heroic Uncle Al. Mqurice
