North Korea really shouldn't be tossing threats around this time. If they hold South Korea and Japan hostage, not even China will bail them out now. Looks like Bush was right to include North Korea as part of the "axis of evil."


Ten, IMO it's not a threat, its a challenge. You may be right......its not a good time but that doesn't seem to bother them.

One interesting effect of North Korea's admission is the impact it will have on South Korea's presidential elections that are coming up in December. Kim Dae Jung isn't running (South Korean presidents have a one-term limit), but it'd be interesting to see what happens to his "sunshine policy" once he goes.

I think S. Korea would be foolish to respond to this admission. The admission is directed at the US and specifically, Bush.
