They could eliminate tax lawyers as a species tomorrow by overhauling the Internal Revenue Code

I thought that the Republicans had that on their list of things to do? It sounds like a great idea, and a big winner in any election too. I am sure the whole economy would benefit if applied evenly. i.e. a simple tax code that was verifiable across all income ranges.

I'd agree that any business enterprise should have a generous tax break... well, once it was a genuine business -g-
