If you're talking about this screen home.midsouth.rr.com and this message home.midsouth.rr.com then all it's telling you is that it is functioning properly and gives you the date of your virus definitions. Your setting the automatic update check should keep you up to date but it wouldn't hurt to check the date manually when you see a date posted here just to make sure it's working.
