Scott, I have a hard time envisioning the disappearance of 50% of the chip companies. Although the low btb number does go hand in hand with my contention that we are already in, or at least very near a double dip recession, most of these companies still have lots of cash and very low debt positions.

Telecom and dot.com's have been and will continue to be the area where we see company after company continue to disappear in my opinion but any company with a high debt position and questionable profit margins is going to get hit hard. Just look at the action in MOT for an example this week.

Thanks, RtS
