RtS, Gottfried on the AMAT thread tries to put a positive spin on the number: Billings held up, bookings did not. Remember past cycle history [the dip/plateau in mid-cycle] before despairing. :) More often than not September has been the worst month for btb. Message 18127913 Alastair, I was hoping that some of those who are still quite bullish would weigh in on their opinion(s) of the btb and perhaps admit to being shocked at the number.
