I used to play options a lot. And there are times that I have made huge amounts of money playing them. One of those times was pretty recently. I have also lost huge amounts of money playing options, one of those times was also pretty recently.

I am not really trying to discourage you so much as just make sure that you put the appropriate amount of caution on your expectations.

Remember, something like 90% of options expire worthless....it is a seller's game, not a buyer's game.
