re:"If N.Korea was still reprocessing plutonium, which they stopped in 1994, they would be capable of producing about 30 nukes / year by now."

How do you know that? President Clinton said that, "North Korea cannot be allowed to develop a nuclear bomb." on Meet the Press in 1993. The article states that originally, President Clinton was going to send additional U.S. troops to South Korea, an action that the American commander believed would provoke war. A war with North Korea in 1993, would have ended North Korea's nuclear weapons program. Or are you are saying, that in 1993, President Clinton wasn't telling the truth about his willingness to confronting Korea over nukes?

The question sill is: Do you think you can trust Saddam more than Kim Il Sung? Because, if the answer is that Saddam's word is as good as Kim's, then we might as well go to war now.
