How do you separate the two?
The only solution is to open records, keep them open, and look suspiciously at anyone making excuses to suppress the public's right to know. They are likely to be the culprit.

The anti-American criminality that has contaminated the intelligence services and executive branch will survive only by hiding facts from the people through various excuses and compliance of the media.

As far as open records go, I don't really care about that. If there is evidence of a crime, and opening something might shed light on it that is one thing. The dems want to open records to FIND evidence to hurt the President. It's a witch hunt imo.

Look at it this way: the government belongs to the people, not to the idiots in Washington.
Once these arrogant functionaries get into power they forget that, and assume that you and I work for them, instead of the other way around.

Many passive, compliant American people, walk around with a large target on their backs, all the while trusting government to protect them, believing what government officials tell them, paying exhorbitant taxes, being lied to.
