stan, I don't expect sympathy from this thread. Geez, the very thought is horrific to imagine. Sort of like a hug from a leper. <VBG>

All I'm saying is that the spirit may be willing, but the flesh is often weak. Drowning men will grab at any line, even if it's a snake.

This is THE most cyclical of industries.

However, home team or not, many more people were blown up trading on their own with discounters and, especially, picking garbage funds for their 401Ks. Sales pressure from brokers didn't make them select Janus funds when perfectly good American Funds and Pimco funds were available in their plans. Bond funds in the 90s? A mug's game. Nobody would pick them when Janus goes up 60% every year.

BTW, those who picked a good futures broker, all 6 of them, did the best of all.
