Invading Iraq will hardly cool the fires between the Palestinians and Israelis. And if what you say is true that you were once "liberal" and are now rightwing, aren't you a contradiction of yourself? I don't see anything contradictory in Zinni's visionary statements. He doesn't have tunnel vision about the situation as many here seem to. After Saddam's fall, then what? No one has answered that. Bush and company thought they could merely state what they wanted and it would happen and they've not stated what they would do except for some pie in the sky bs about giving those people the freedom from oppression we in the US have. But first, we must kill hundreds of thousands if not millions of Iraqis to accomplish this.
