The only thing they lacked in the '90's was the enriched uranium. This is what makes the Korean news that much more distressing, just another volatile potential source

Somebody please tell me, what is to prevent North Korea, which has enriched uranium but no money, from selling 40lbs of the stuff to Saddam Hussein, who has the bomb but no uranium, and billions of dollars to pay for it?

Somebody tell me what is stopping this obvious transaction, because I would be comforted to hear a theory, any theory, as to why it can't happen, why it hasn't already happened.

Time is running out? You bet.
