Then you stated:

So again, did our presence in Vietnam help anyone? Answer, It didn't help anyone, and it undermined this country, and it reaped upon the people of Laos and Cambodia a horror that never would have happened had we simply not gone into Vietnam. And that's not irrelevant. That's what we were discussing.
