when the vote goes too far towards the Islamic Fundamentalists Normal folk, no matter how much propaganda and mind conditioning is going about, usually have some knowledge about the true state of matters. A true democracy can help educate and win over political debates of this nature. Failure occurs when democracy and education are not used as the primary tools. The USA got to where it is using such tools in the past. Vietnam was a prominent failure to use such tools. God help the USA in her hour of need. EOS (End Of Story) imho.
