Anybody who was anti-Communist was better than the alternative An interesting counter argument. My kids were schooled in the USA during their formative years. I liked listening to their history lessons. The USA patriots paid heavily for their fight for independence from the British. Huge sacrifice in blood and treasure. Many who escaped death were ruined financially for their patriotic duty. An impressive true story of sacrifice to their country. Vietnam was not to be allowed her sovereignty though. Never mind that democracy word.
