OT The context theory

I figure that most Muslims are good people who ignore the passages of the Qur'an that advocate hatred and intolerance. Nonetheless the tragic flaw of the Qur'an is that there a multiple passages in which Mohammed advocates violence. These passages are used by extremists to justify terrorism.

Are you saying that that I am viewing the Qur'an through rose-colored lenses--that it is, on balance, an evil book and that Muslims are, in aggregate evil people? (I am not trying to put words into your mouth. I am trying to learn. I have been reading your posts for a couple years and I respect them.) What is your point of view?
