I am a little confused. The state-of-the-art in production is 0.13um and the R & D is working on moving to 0.09um. I read that the first EUV lithography tool is targeting 45 nanometers or 0.045um. What is the current significance of 0.01um challenges? I guess I am not certain what "um" refers to. Microns? Nanometers?
