As I just posted to CB, it is difficult for the electorate to be in opposition when the bullets are flying and the bombs are going off at the local pizza parlor.This is why the PAL's have to get a clue and realize the intifada is toast and was never a good idea right from the start.

But now we have what the US is considering undue force being applied in circumstances that could be handled much better.The point being, that at some time the PALs and the Israelis will have to live side by side again in some form and with some type of peace installed, externally or otherwise.The process has to start somewhere.No one can expect the bitterness and resentment( on both sides ) to just appear out of thin air when some kind of arrangement is made.
