you ignore the fact that attacks increased when Israel withdrew from Lebanon, and the two sides are at the verge of open warfare now.

Total BS. As I've said, Israeli **********CASUALTIES********* will diminish. THEY DID. Do you dispute that? Yes, your arguments are not only poor, they are extraordinrily poor. What is your problem? You cannot for the life of you figure out what the point is. I don't think I can bold more - it is the case of willful blindness. Whatever the reason - your arguments suffer as a result.

in the other you talk about how Israel is a "vicious colonial state" that has stolen all its land.

I was referring to a historical fact of how Israel was created - mostly through violence and uprooting of the natives. And the reason I was making that reference was because folks like you love to talk about how Arabs "attacked" Israel before 67 - I got tired of that raw propaganda and simply provided the CONTEXT of why that happened. I then followed it by saying: HOWEVER IN WHATEVER WAY ISRAEL was created, the U.N. has sanctioned it - AND I GO ALONG WITH THAT. So that's my grounds for saying: pre-67, is fine with me, and fine with world opinion and the U.N. But not an inch more. That does not negate historical facts. Just as it is a historical fact that the U.S. was created by colonialits. But I accept (and am glad for) the existance of the U.S.A. Same for Israel - accept pre-67, vehemently reject any expansion... not even because I'm pro-PAL, but I don't think it is in Israel's interest, and more importantly because it is a disaster for the U.S.A., where my loyalties lie.

you just argued openly for the destruction of Israel without all this posturing, it would at least be an honest argument.

That's your paranoid accusation. Not only are you wrong, but if there is one reason why interacting with you is so unproductive from my point of view, is that I think YOU are dishonest. You are simply 100% pro-Israel no matter how obvious and vicious and self-defeating Israeli policies may be. You distort facts, you really merely spread disinformation, and you are NOT INTERESTED in the truth, as far as I can see. That is the real problem. I am always willing to learn, change my mind, and to see what the truth may be - I don't idealize Arabs, OR Israelis, OR the U.S.A. I don't look to spread propaganda - I look for the truth to the best of my ability, and for the best arguments as to what to do that is in the interests of freedom and civilization. You seem to me to simply have an agenda. As such it is not productive from my point of view. I'd rather discuss with someone who DISAGREES with me, but is sincerely interested in TRUTH, not pushing a propaganda line. It is far more likely that one learns from an honest contrary argument, than from simply having to disentangle yet another piece of disinformation.
