The best example is Anne Coulter, who gains fame and attention by occupying the furthest publishable right end of the spectrum, going as close as she can to saying, "kill them all and have a ball", in fact, actually saying something similar.
Her appearances are carefully orchestrated, and the only opposition are mealy-mouthed incompetents. She'd really reach for the nazi propaganda if she were confronted by someone saying the same things as she is, about the Right, that they need to be hunted down, as un-Americans who threaten the very existance of our country, etc. etc. I'd love to hear her response. |
