That's exactly the response I'd expect from someone who only gets his news from the New York Times.

Have you actually listened to any of Bush's speeches about why Iraq, why now? Or Cheney's? Or Rice's? Or Blair's?

The list of reasons is very long.

I suspect that you haven't actually sat through one, you just glean the gist from commentators.
