ROFL Bull pucky woulda shoulda coulda I don't believe it and you probably don't either -but I understand you read my post wrong (and will never admit it), and you probably don't want to think that part of the causal chain of the USSR leaving Afghanistan was to leave a hate vacuum that was filled by the US. If a people need to hate someone, I'd rather they hated someone other than the US. I think the USSR was great for that purpose. That is hardly the position of a comrade, JLA. Use your enemies (my motto), they frequently prove more useful than friends, because one has less compunction about what one can do with them.
