Nokia EDGE Update 2002
The Nokia EDGE Update 2002 will be held in concert with the Nokia Mobile Internet Conference (NMIC), on November 5th at the Lenbach, Renaissance Goblin-Saal at Ottostrasse 6, Munich, Germany. The first EDGE event was organised in 2001 during NMIC Barcelona as the "Nokia/AWS EDGE Operator Forum". Nokia EDGE Update 2002 is an event similar to NMIC 2002 in Munich, and is intended as a follow up to demonstrate Nokia's commitment to EDGE and readiness for global launches. The event has strong backing from operators, particularly from leading EDGE operators such as AWS and Cingular. Nokia EDGE Update 2002 is a global event and operators from Europe, Asia and Americas are expected to particate. The event is targeted for mobile operators senior management and invitations will be sent by early October.
