redhat 7.3 manpage issue.
possibly as an artefact of some past whatever I found that I had a MANPATH defined in my .cshrc file. The path was not correct any longer, Redhat may have changed the default location of man page directories..
Any way execution a manpath command give the current manpath.
The current default manpath for redhat 7.3 is.
[ 182 ] > manpath
/usr/share/man:/usr/local/share/man:/usr/kerberos/man:/usr/X11/man

NOTE: in older versions of linux. /usr/X11/ was the default location of X server files. I always softlink /usr/X11/ to /usr/X11R6
ln -s /usr/X11R6 /usr/X11/
