Too curious? Not allowed by whom(Authorities, I presume)? A local story about knifings which disappears isn't in the same league with this guy who's particulars appear to relate so closely to this rather big story. I can't imagine an editor nixing this, and the report in fact is that the authorities have nixed reporting on this. I may be too curious, but it wouldn't necessarily seem so at the moment, unless you just mean I should shut up about it as the media has reportedly been asked to do- and for the same unknown reason- then I might agree with you.
