I liked your post on another board. When I read the report I wondered why they did not mention MNG because of its' great exploration potential. Yeah, I realize brokerage reports are related to the brokers potential for financial research, but still....

I think you can buy any junior right now that has an ounce of gold in the ground or the prospect thereof. Valuations are low right now but
the trick in this segment is to find the home run. If you buy these stocks for the base hit you will lose all your money.

I read the RJ report and I'm wondering if it's the analysts' who's being introduced to the subject because his perception of the issues, in my
view, is badly flawed. His picks are okay but this thread has been aware of them for a long time. ARQ is probably okay and safe enough but
it lacks explosive upside. BacTech is not really a discovery leveraged stock. Canico is a joke, in my view. Cumberland won't be in production
by 2006. And, Northern Dynasty is a very very very large sulfide system that is very very very marginal even at much higher commodity
prices. The HD group has done this over and over again. So what?

The whole point of buying a junior company is to get the leverage of a discovery. The process of discovery is not
safe but very risky. This report is a standard baloney industry report that does not take any risk. Do you think that any brokerage company
in this environment is going to take any risk? 61 pages of everything that is known by the market and us at this point. So what?

This is the part that reminded me of MNG.

"The report
that would be of value right now would present the exploration properties that have credibility and leverage before drilling. But that takes real
talent, risk and judgement all of which the brokers are sadly deficient. That's the segment to follow right now, in my view. "

If MNG can somehow interest American gold or PM Mutual funds to look at their potential the stock would get some support. I am not hopeful as I don't think U.S. mutual funds will get involved with a penny stock. If and when MNG has a Hope Bay mine in production and is selling at $4 or $5, then funds will at least look at it. So the U.S. funds, IMO, will probably only buy the stock when their support is no longer needed.
