I have also lost on LU, but only a little. Lost a bundle on NT, however, so can commiserate.

One small comment of solace. Joe Kernan is not known, uh, how do I say this delicately,... he is not known as a particularly original or deep thinker. He is, however, a good indicator of investor sentiment. So, his 'thoughts' merely reflect the market sentiment on LU. Whether the market is right or wrong can only be seen through hindsight.
