chinton, Geopolitically speaking for the US, Africa and central Asia will be critical places where diplomacy and energy/oil & gas development will intertwine....

The US has already made the decision (about seven years ago) to diversify into these regions, and to set in motion a foreign policy to back that approach.

Also in the Middle East the US needs to rekindle its links to non-Wahabi dominated governments in the Region as was the foreign policy say 30-35 years ago... Just IMO....
