You are seriously appealing to Robert Fisk as an authority?

The all-purpose slander of "anti-Semitism" is now used with ever-increasing promiscuity against anyone – people who condemn the wickedness of Palestinian suicide bombings every bit as much as they do the cruelty of Israel's repeated killing of children – in an attempt to shut them up.

Who of sense will accept this assessement from a man who spent months ranting about a perfectly imaginary massacre in Jenin, and never took a word back when it was proved a hoax? But then, Fisk doesn't much care if what he says is even plausible, so long as it serves The Cause. I myself have heard him indignantly deny that any Arab government derived any benefit from the continuance of the Arab/Israeli conflict, a statement that must surely surprise all observers of the Middle East.

Now I happen to take issue with some of Professor Honderich's conclusions and I think his book – praised by the American-Jewish scholar Noam Chomsky – meanders

Naturally Fisk appeals to Chomsky's authority, what more need I say? Are apologists for the Khmer Rouge your cup of tea, jcky?
