VTSS had an impressive cc, imo.

Progress made moving away from original LH business (which used to represent 70% of revenue for VTSS in 2000) to new markets of : Storage (2Gbit only), Metro and Enterprise.

LH is declining but other 3 mkts are growing 10% qtr/qtr.

VTSS seems to hold premier vendor slot in 2Gbit storage. Qlogic does not compete, they are in upper layers. TI and Agilent are competitors.

Fabless business model planned by 2003.

VTSS bought down debt this qtr and in the first few weeks following the eoq so debt now stands at 195mm. Cash burn is declining (target 10mm jan qtr) and break even target dec 2003.

Those are the big highlights for me, detail notes in next post. Lizzie
