I just had the same thing happen to me last night. No idea what is going on but I am using Satellite as well for access. I am using my Netscape right now to get on line and my Outlook Mail works fine, I just cant get anywhere on IE6.

I haven't had time to mess with it but if I figure it out, I will let you know. So far, what I know.

When I ping in Command Prompt, I get 50% packet loss.

FTP, Outlook Mail and Netscape work.

I didn't change, update or do anything to make IE6 change settings. I wonder if DirecPC changed something?

Good Luck,

Lee
