And when you've followed bad advice like the QQQ disaster what was his advice inre the QQQ? don't tell me he advises putting half your money in that swamp pit! Forget what Bob says. i have never listened to Bob. the whole idea of an "analyst" who delivers his "analysis" over the airwaves strikes me as rather funny. i would think the printed word is a better forum for somebody who wants to express complex thinking. that is, assuming one has something of complexity to convey. in more general terms, i continue to be amazed at how naive people are about the investing world. i often hear people complain that they bought a stock because some analyst said it would go up but it went down. what do they think--that the analyst's blurb is some kind of FDIC guarantee? one good thing about a bear market is that it will put a lot of "gurus" out of business.
