And it is true that Junior withheld the information that North Korea had confirmed it's nuclear program until after the congressional debate on war over weapons of mass destruction. (and only then because the information was leaked).

I said it could, and there is every indication that it may do that once the plunge protection team takes their post-election holliday.

the dow went up 300 points. Primarily because of this statement
No, the DOW went up because Junior pulled back temporarily from his war rhetoric. The real pullback was because bond interest rates had inverted and so traders got out of bonds leading to short sellers in stocks closing their positions. Watch the bear market rally fade as Junior continues to run the economy further in the ditch.
