That's despicable. The answer of course is irradiating the meat for pathogens. Irradiating takes everything out of the meat including any benefit from eating it. Therefore, you might just as well eat the cardboard packaging. I think this is their goal anyway. Most people are unaware that bth milk products, bioengineered vegetables, unfiltered water, fluorescent lighting and irradiated foods are useless at best, harmful at worst.
