Re: Keep in mind that the State Department is routinely issuing warnings ....So why should the sniper's warnings be treated any differently ... Maybe the government does not want to share its power to terrorize the public. The economy in the DC area is already strongly affected. So they don't want to depress it further especially with the Christmas season coming up, IMHO. Or maybe, they are just waiting for the election to be over.
