>>I think that this means that we can pretty much count on more state and local taxes<< yep... and let's not forgot "why" those monies will need to be extracted from taxpayers. poor investment decisions, unrealistic expectations of returns, and excessive risk. now don't you wish we had the ability to get big brother to re-fund any losses in our retirement accounts? or how about the corporations? looks like they will have to make up the difference the old fashion way... "earn it" so much for moral hazard on the municipal and state level.
