Both the deals you're referring to were contracts that were broken by counterparties to you or yours. If you were in the shoes of the Saudis or Germans, you'd probably be justifying those deal breakings on the basis of actions by their counterparties.

I hate to have to point this out, counselor, but every significant legal action I've ever seen had lawyers speaking for both sides. There's a reason for this. It has to do with human nature. And it's not because 50% of lawyers are "immoral" and defend the "wrong" side.

In human life, the determination of what is right and what is wrong is exceedingly difficult. The people directly involved have motivations that usually promote them to support their own side (but sometimes promote them the other way). The people not directly involved have little true understanding of the situation.
