Your question is well taken on some companies only moving a point or two on FDA approval,but there are some like PLSIA that went from $6 to $16 in a week,CLSR doubled in 2 months,they havent even been approved yet,AVIR up 175% and they will file next year,so there is hope that we may go up a point or two or more.A lot of the FDA approvals,and I watch every one every day and I follow what the stocks do in order to get an idea,and some are me too products,where there are competitive products out there,and they will have to convince people that their's is best.I speak to people who represent 70% of the total outstanding in CCSI,and I believe they share my thoughts that this is going to be a very big idea.I wouldn't own it if I thought there was only a point or two in it,because the risk reward is too great with that limited upside.I feel,according to MY work,that 12-18 months out CCSI will be earning at the rate of $1-1.50-2.00 per share and maybe higher.Medical device stocks,MDT,DSCP,HDTC,SDG,ESCMF sell for more than 40x p/es,which if I am partially correct will give me a $40++ stock.Let me give you my wish.We get approval.Stock goes up 1-2 points as you suggest.I will back up a truck to buy it.Everyone that I deal with is willing to add,and I would love to buy this up a little after approval because I know where we are going after approval,and I want to be there in spades.Now to answer another question that was posed on the dental market,I have spoken to Darby about this and her eyes light up thinking about what it can be.Understand this company has had limited resources,and they decided the best strategy was to get FDA approval first,and then go after these other markets.I lived through this filing with the company,and I could not believe the man(woman) hours that were devoted to it.You can only go so many ways in a company and they thought this route was the best for the long term viability of the company.Just suppose approval is here,and I go to a dentist or group and I have FDA approval with a new technology.Don't you think my credibility is that much higher,and therefore the sale that much easier.Dental,cosmetic,industrial are all huge markets,but let's get this one first,and then we can dream about the others,because they will be the cherries on the whipped cream.Finally,so many people have said to me,and friends who I have in the stock are calling every day and saying,Gee's I am missing the whole bull market being in this GD stock.I can't argure,but if we are right then you get paid later ,but you get paid in spades in my opinion.The old risk/reward. |
