What About A Movie and Book Review Thread..? Tomato, Holly, Marcos (if you're lurking..) What do you think of a movie and book review thread...so that we can flaunt our highbrow tastes for all to see.?.. No, just a little "kiddin'" (goat farmer lingo for funnin' ya)... Anyhow, it might help to justify all that time spent watching movies or reading books... We can pretend to be "analyzing" them for content... Perhaps it might even "evolve" into some kind of Siskel and Ebert thing... Tomato: I give this movie the high five tomato for an excellent plot and cast of characters...and a beautiful shot of Bonny Best and Ultra Girl in the background behind Meryl Streep's shoulder in "Bridges of Madison County". (Boy!!! Good thing you can go back and EDIT this stuff... You won't BELIEVE the typo I just made with "county" a minute ago....!!!! Egad... I would have been thrown off of SI for a year!!!...Bad BAD Crocodile!!!) VooDoo Wani: I give this book 3 crocodile tails for its rather sly humour... but I think they went a little overboard on the self-referential postmodern devices... Holly: I give this documentary 2 mice for accuracy and meticulous care in every detail... also for the most excellent "captions"... just a little cross-thread stuff there...to a thread I don't even post on...did you catch it...?). Anyhow, give it some thought... perhaps someone will take the bull market by the horns and put this show on the road. VooDoo Wani
