The sniper is likely to live in the Aspen Hill area. The initial pattern suggests someone no further south than Kensington, between Rockville Pike and Georgia Avenue, and no further north than Aspen Hill. There are a lot of people in that area, but it is fairly compact. I assure you, if there are any Arabs/Muslims, especially recent immigrants, in that area, they are being checked out. The very fact that they do not seem to have made much progress suggests that it is nothing as simple as an attack by Middle Eastern terrorists. It does not, I hasten to note, prove it.
