You can blow the opening moves and still win the game -- but to try, as Bob does so often, to pitch the handling of Iraq as an intelligent and well-planned strategy that is yielding great results is laughable. Cheney et al have been doing what they wanted to do for a long time -- marginalize the UN and go for the throat of countries that give us trouble in places where we have strategic interests -- the mid-east being a prime example.
