Two days ago I sent this PM to Heinz Heinz, are you there? Any thoughts on RSA golds? HGMCY earnings are down from last Q. Does it bother you? today I got this reply i've looked at their results closely, and imo they were much better than they appeared at first glance. a big chunk of the decline came from marking PDG stock to market, and operational difficulties at Ealndsrand/Deelkraal, which have in the meantime been 100% resolved. the other SA miners will also report sequential earnings declines (with the possible exception of DROOY), but imo this has created a buying opportunity rather than being a reason for worry at this stage. regards, hb P.S.
