If Ashcroft and the CIA can get rid of the Israeli hitwomen through some back-channel shenanigans with the Mossad then all the US gov. has to do --as far as public opinion is concerned-- is tell the people that $10 mil has been wired to some Vanuatu bank account and that the "mad sniper" gave them assurance that he won't do it again... and Bob's your uncle. Now, the ominous truth about all that mess is that it actually boils down to a veiled death threat against President George Bush. The US President will be the "prize target" of the snipers (or another team). Rumor has it that Cheney is already rehearsing his coming Oath of Office ceremony.... Gus
