John, you, and others like you, constantly make remarks to the effect that "We are only creating more hatred and recruiting more people for them by doing thus and so."

The point is, without money, all they can do is holler. The level of hatred in the ME is going to be there as long as the culture does not change. But they cannot do anything about it without the bucks. That is why drying up the money is so important. These people can't train for warfare if they have to spend all their time working to feed themselves. The recruits will always be there if the money is there. No money, no recruits.
