You call those facts? Not a fact in the bunch - only your opinions.

If we go to war, it will either happen WITH UN backing or AFTER the UN proves itself incapable of doing anything but vacillate.

If we do not go to war, it will be because Saddam has been, or is being, rendered harmless, which was the objective all along.

Precisely what position could have been "used to [successfully] rally a coalition?" BTW, "It could've been handled better" is not a fact except to the extent that there's room for improvement in nearly everything.

Regime change has never been the objective, but only a possibly or maybe even necessary means to achieve the objective, which, again, is to render Saddam harmless. Bush and Cheney did not invent the idea of regime change and they were not the first to conclude that regime change was likely the only way to disarm Iraq. Congress concluded the same thing four years ago. And that IS a fact.
