So, on the face of it, it looks like yet another piece by a not-liberal telling liberals what to do and think.

Lemmee see John... Is it just a matter of Bush being president and you being unwilling to back any action he might take against Saddam??

Were you against Clinton's "Operation Desert Fox", or his launching Tomahawks against what later turned out be a pharmaceutical factory that sold medicines to Iraq??

There were FAR MORE military sorties launched against Iraq during Clinton's administration than have been launched during Bush's (because Clinton was president longer)..

Did you support those??

Would you support such an action were Gore president and he decided on pursuing the disarmament, and/or ouster, of Saddam Hussein??

I would... Even if I don't like Gore.. I would support the action...
