Linux on a PC is cheaper and pretty close to being as good as a Sun.

thats what I think too but just making sure the real technical folks feel the same way.

Sun still had the very high end servers until Dell started the Linux clusters at which point Sun is relegated up to where IBM is, crowded and not an easy place to be.
