I didn't read the whole article yet, just skimmed it. What little I saw struck me as very inconsistent -- one part stressed the importance of international law and the purported illegality of the war, the other part stressed the importance of morality over law in judging preemptive war. Ok, which point are we arguing? I'll try to give it a more careful read. Meanwhile, did you read Jon Chait's article on why liberals should support the war in TNR? As for it being "conservative" -- both left and right have split apart since 9/11, haven't you noticed? the radical fringes of left and right seem to be joining forces.
