Del, I had the time this afternoon and decided to deliberately call Kettering to ask Texaco officials if there was any truth to a rumor that Texaco had already spoken publically about expanding the Kettering battery plant. Instead I reached the operator/guard after hours, apparently normal hours at Kettering are 7A to 3:30P, and so I tried my luck and she had heard about Springboro but no details. Rather than wait several days to try Texaco again, I just called the Springboro Chamber explained that I was an investor in Texaco's battery partner,ECD, and wondered if they had heard about a new Texaco plant starting up and she paused, took a moment I suppose to find a paper, and said yes we have an invitation to the ceremony this coming Tues and then she referred me to the Springboro Econ Development Office for details where the director told me the new plant size. All this probably took 10 minutes. If this coincides with an announcement of lawsuit resolution, I'll howl at the moon! Al
